About:
Elizabeth is a proud mother of 1, wife, and pet parent. Her main reason for running for District 2, in the Ohio House of Representatives, is to make the world a better place for all of us, especially our children.
Causes she supports:
Elizabeth is a champion for children; supporting parents, schools, and teachers. She is also a strong supporter of Universal Health Care for all, especially Free* Health Care for all Children, Disabled People, Elderly, Pregnant People, and Veterans. Elizabeth is a part of the LGBTQIA+ Community. She is also a strong ally who believes that everyone deserves to feel safe to be seen and heard as their most authentic self.
Goals:
Elizabeth is a strong believer in valuing Community over viewing everyone as Competition. She believes that there are always topics that everyone can agree upon. Elizabeth also understands that compromise is key in order to achieve anything. Her main goal will be to reach across the aisle and work on legislation that builds a better, stronger, and safer future for all Ohioan Children.
Campaign Promises:
Elizabeth wants to enact legislation that puts our kids first. Her 1st pieces of legislation that she hopes to introduce are Free* School Breakfast & Lunch to ALL of Ohio’s K-12 Schools. Over 500,000 (1/2 a Million) children in Ohio suffer from Food Insecurity and Hunger. That’s 1 in 5 Children who don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Free* School Breakfast & Lunch for ALL K-12 is a good way to start putting and end to Childhood Hunger.
